Traveling
to Granada by air is easy. The Spanish Airlines Iberia,
Spanair and Vueling
have frequent flights to Granada from Madrid and Barcelona.
When planning your trip from abroad, look for connecting
flights to Granada departing from any of these two International
Airports. We strongly recommend you to consider this
option since it is the most convenient and quick.
Another possibility is to land in
Málaga International Airport. This is the busiest
airport in Andalucía, with many international
connections. When you arrive in Málaga, get to
the bus station in the center of town. From Málaga
to Granada you have frequent and comfortable buses operated
by Alsina
Graells. Buses leave almost every hour, and the
trip takes about one hour and a half.
And finally, some students arrived
in the past in Madrid and came to Granada by bus with
Continental Auto (another
Alsa affiliate). The trip from Madrid to Granada is
cheap and comfortable, but it takes well over 5 hours.
We do not recommend this option because you will be
probably too tired to cope with such a long bus leap.
